My daughter started OT services for sensory integration when she was two years old. Our PT from early intervention kept urging us to get an evaluation, as she felt her late walking was based on more than delayed development and that she saw sensory issues. She was right and Maggie Hall proved to be the perfect occupational therapist to work with Alice. Maggie makes it fun, but also knows to push Alice just enough to work through her resistance, and for her to realize she actually can do it. My daughter is three now, and she has come a long way. She still has delays and challenges, and we will keep our OT sessions up, as we strongly feel that this helps her to get stronger, more coordinated and more confident. In Alice’s words: ‘Thank you, Ms. Maggie!’
