Rose Denaut, OTD
Occupational Therapist
Rose earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Hanover College. Serving the pediatric population has always been a passion of hers, and she finds deep purpose in supporting children as they grow in strength, confidence, and independence through meaningful, play-based care.
Prior to joining About Play, Rose completed her Level II fieldwork and capstone at Hirsch Academy, a neurodivergent-affirming school in Decatur, where she focused on creating a neurodiversity-affirming evaluation process. During her time there, she supported students’ sensory needs within the classroom and participated in DIR/Floortime to build connection, co-regulation, and engagement. Prior to completing her OT degree, Rose gained over 15 years of experience working with children in various settings.
Her work is rooted in connection, compassion, and purpose, with a heart for service that extends beyond the clinic into her involvement at her local church, where she serves in the nursery, kids’ church, and dance ministry. Outside of work, Rose enjoys photography, dancing, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.
