Occupational Therapist

Jessica received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University in December of 2021, and began working at AboutPlay in April of 2024. Before joining the AboutPlay team, she worked as a pediatric OT in another therapy clinic in the Atlanta area. Jessica has her Basic Certificate in DIR/Floortime. She is working on becoming certified in Brain and Sensory Foundation (integration of primitive reflexes), and is certified in Level 1 Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training. Prior to becoming an OT, Jessica graduated from Furman University majoring in Health Sciences. She thrives on relationship-building and encouraging others to explore their life’s “occupations”. Jessica is a life-long resident of metro Atlanta. She loves to travel and to spend time with her husband and their dog, Rudy.
