Join Andrea Gilkey, COTA/L and Rebecca Fiscal, MS, OTR/L for this 8 week group focusing on the foundations of handwriting. Both Andrea and Rebecca have experience in the school systems helping children with handwriting. Did you know how many components go into handwriting? Your child will have fun and engaging opportunities to build visual-motor skills, postural awareness and core strength, bilateral coordination skills, as well as fine motor and hand skills that all contribute to handwriting health. This group will start with fun activities in the gym, and your child will receive hands-on handwriting help that is age and developmentally appropriate, with the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum that is used in many schools. This group will take place on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 pm starting 1/22, and ending 3/11 2020. Cost is $480, with codes provided for insurance reimbursement. Ages 5-10 welcome.
