Welcome to Star Child! This is a platform for parents and caregivers who wish to support their sensitive and intuitive children. We seek to support and validate children in their experiences, through the lens of neuroscience and energy medicine.
Kate Drummond is an occupational therapist who has worked with sensitive children since 1997. After entering motherhood and having her own re-awakening of intuitive abilities, she began to wonder about the kind of sensory sensitive children she was working with.
What if these children experience more than sensory sensitivities?
What if these children are empathic, and intuitively connected, perhaps even more so than neurotypical children?
We will discuss these ideas on this platform, and will offer support based on Kate’s decades as an OT, and near decade of working with adults as an intuitive energy practitioner; combining her expertise of sensory processing, neuroscience, and energy medicine.

The Importance of Movement for Children in Schools

Monday April 13
Rebecca taught in elementary schools for over a decade. She switched over to occupational therapy with children, and has become passionate and an advocate for helping children get what they need in the classroom by focusing on educating teachers on the importance of movement. She wrote the book “Let Them Move” with relatable and digestible content on the explanation of why this is so important, from a learning and nervous system standpoint. Rebecca is also highly intuitive and tapped into the needs of the children that she works with. She will be discussing why this is so important for all children, including those highly sensitive and intuitive, in today’s world.
